Events and Specials for Lucky Dill Westshore
Every time we go there, it's a very good meal. There's only one issue. The menu is so large that making a decision sometimes takes a little while. I was going to get breakfast, but I went with the "strawberry fields" salad, which was awesome. Field greens, pear, sun-dried cranberries, almond slices, chunks of brie, grilled chicken breast, pound cake croutons, and strawberries with a Meyer lemon dressing. Just be sure to get extra dressing, because you'll need/want it. Service was also very good.
When our community decided to visit Lucky Dill in Palm Harbor we contacted them because I was concern that since we had 27 people wanted to have our dinner on a busy Monday night could they accommodate us. Well it seemed they were more than happy to have us. Guido handled the reservation and put us in their back room so we could all be seated together. The staff could not have been nicer . Guido oversaw through the night that everything was going smoothly. He is a great asset to the Lucky Dill. For all at us at Del Webb Bexley in Land O Lakes Florida we thank you for a great time. I am sure we will return!!
Another excellent lunch at Lucky Dill. Greg was our server, he does an excellent job explaining the menu and order options. You rarely run into a server as professional and helpful as this man. We had hot pastrami sandwiches which were outstanding. I grew up in Manhattan and I can say this place is far better than Katz or any other NYC deli hands down. Prices are reasonable and portions are huge. The bakery is evil and chock full of calories.......but well worth it!
Great Thanksgiving spread. 3rd year we have been attending. Valet parking made it easy. Only downfall to the whole experience is that the limit your take home boxes. I paid $30 for my meal, and was told our party of 7 could only have a few take home boxes. Not sure what that was all about, but I paid for it, why do you want to throw it out 😳. Not coming back next year.
